Riverside’s Annual Eats & Beats Streetfest is back – this year on Saturday, June 3rd and Sunday, June 4th alongside the Riverdale ArtWalk. Join us as the festival helps ‘Celebrate 150’ and Indigenous roots, with festivities spanning Riverside’s 10 vibrant blocks along Queen Street East from the DVP to Empire Avenue.
On Saturday, June 3rd, Downtown Automotive Group will be celebrating Riverside’s Eats & Beats with DJ beats and hot sizzles grilled fresh with authentic Italian flavor by Il Ponte. Downtown Automotive Group or DAG has been around since 1992 and takes “community to heart”. Their select group of dealerships offers a number of new and used vehicles. DAG have been involved with many different community causes, from supporting local young people’s sports teams to the YWCA Women’s Shelter.
DAG is currently undertaking an ambitious new development that will lead to the establishment of Riverside Square—a 7-dealership property with nearly 800 condo units for residential purposes.
As a Riverisde Eats & Beats Streetfest Sponsor in 2016 and 2017, and a partner in the the Riverside Bridge Lighting Project completed in 2015, DAG shows how much they love this city and neighbourhood, and beleive that “there’s never been a better time to get out there and be part of the action”.
