More about The Musicians:

The Don Valley Stompers

Toronto’s local jazz band The Don Valley Stompers, is a seven piece band that play in the New Orleans dancehall tradition. This high energy band takes old-time jazz seriously – they even have a Sousaphone – and clearly intend to carry the tradition into the future, while enjoying themselves immensely.

Anthony D’Alessandro

Anthony D’Alessandro is a pianist, composer, arranger, and bandleader based in Toronto, Ontario. His love of Oscar Peterson’s sense of swing, combined with his passion for the blues, gospel, and traditional jazz, has shaped his distinctively joyful and captivating style of playing. Anthony’s music has taken him to Toronto’s most iconic venues as well as throughout the United States and Europe. Check out his music.

Eamon McGrath

Eamon McGrath is a Canadian musician and writer from Edmonton, Alberta and currently based in Toronto. On his own, his live performances are most often folk-oriented, where McGrath plays songs from his discography on acoustic instruments, but with a band the live show takes on a much more high-energy, punk rock influenced vein. In March 2020, McGrath released the online-only digital full-length The Long Hard Road, coinciding with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. His second book, Here Goes Nothing, was released on ECW Press in September of the same year. Check out his music.

Jesse Daniel

Jesse Daniel’s music is an amalgamation of genres including pop acoustic, blues, alt rock, jazz, and folk. Jesse Daniel’s songs are guitar player oriented with singer/songwriter pop sensibilities.  In 2016 he released a 4-song demo called ‘The Lesser’ with his band the The Benihanas. Then in 2020 releasing a full-length album called Sound Aquarium. Catch Jesse at The Brickworks Ciderhouse CafeTO Patio on Saturday evenings in October!
