Riverside Local Love is here! This campaign celebrates and supports the amazing small businesses we have here in the Riverside BIA.
Throughout this next month we’re sharing local love through business features, events, and our FABULOUS Weekly and Grand Prizes, as a thanks for showing YOUR local love! Learn all about it, enter our raffles, sign up for our FREE tour and more below.
Riverside Local Love – Contest Rules & Raffle Information
1) Must be 19+ in age to enter.
2) You can enter our raffle once a day by submitting a new Receipt or unique Review for a business located within the Riverside BIA – see map ABOVE.
3) a) If submitting a receipt: Purchase must be made from a business located within the Riverside BIA during the week of submission (for Weekly Raffles) or during the contest period (for Grand Prize Raffle) – see directory here: https://riverside-to.com/business-directory/.
4) Minimum spend of $10 required to enter the raffle, b) If submitting a Google review: it must be viewable publicly with name of business clearly shown in screenshoot and within the Riverside BIA boundaries, per map above.
5) Weekly Raffles will be drawn from weekly entries and announced on: Feb 3, 10, 18, 24,
6) Grand Prize Raffles will be drawn from ALL entries and announced on: Feb 26,
7) Weekly Prizes will include = $250 gift card to a local independent business of choice from our list, for 6 lucky winners per week. Winners will be asked to provide their top three choices from our list and Riverside BIA will select and procure one gift card from one of these top three in order to help distribute support equitably among local businesses.
8) Grand Prizes =a) A one night stay at The Broadview Hotel (for a stay between January-March 2025, conditions apply), b) A paid of tickets to any show at The Opera House (subject to availability, conditions apply)
9) Winners will be contacted by email to inform them of their prize. If no response is received within 3 days, then the prize is forfeited and will be redrawn or used for another prize.
10) Weekly Raffle winners will be contacted and asked to choose their gift card from among a list of approved local independent businesses which will be provided by the Riverside BIA at the time of contact.
11) Winners must be available to book a date and time within one week of prize announcement to meet with Riverside BIA staff to claim their prize, take a photo in front of the business and agree to have their photo shared on social media. No personal information will be shared, only first name. We respect the privacy of the participants and will not disclose last names, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.
12) The Riverside BIA is NOT responsible for lost or stolen prizes after delivery to the winner.
13) Winner’s will NOT hold the Riverside BIA liable for any loss, damage, or injury endured or suffered using the raffle prizes provided by the Riverside BIA.
14) Chances of winning depend on the number of entries. Only one winning prize per participant or name.
15) We can only award prizes to winners who live in Ontario, Canada and who are able to come in person to claim the prize per above noted timeline.
