Explore Toronto’s underrated East End with a local urban planning firm!
Join Sajecki Planning on Wednesday, June 24th as they take you on a guided tour of Toronto’s East End, ending with a viewing party of the Canada vs Switzerland World Cup game.
Toronto is known to be a ‘city of neighbourhoods’, where each area carries its own highly distinctive character. Some of the city’s most dynamic and vibrant neighbourhoods are in the East End, yet visitors don’t often explore these areas. On this tour, we will celebrate these incredible and underrated neighbourhoods. Come see the Toronto that many people miss!
The tour will begin at 227 Pape Avenue and span various East End neighbourhoods including Leslieville, Riverside, Toronto’s New East End Waterfront, East Chinatown and more. Led by an urban planning firm, the tour will tell the story of how these neighbourhoods and landmarks came to be, focusing on past, present and future.
At the end of the tour, we’ll head over to a local sports bar on the Danforth to watch the Canada vs Switzerland 2026 World Cup game.
