Each year, Riverside businesses and community organizations host spook-tacular Halloween events. This year we are once again joining forces to bring you a variety of fun and safe activities for Riverside HOWL-O-WEEN over the week of Oct 26-Nov 1!

Kids (of all ages) can dress up and join in Riverside’s Howl-O-Ween.

What’s in Store and How to Take Part:

• GET YOUR FREE TICKET to let us know you’re coming!
• FREE TREAT BAG (150 available) & MINI PUMPKINS: Drop by to pick up your free treat bag from the RTCC lobby(765 Queen E) with treats from local businesses and organizations, while quantities last! Register by October 25, 12pm – details to be provided upon registration. Free mini Pumpkins will also be available (1 per family) on a first come first served basis!
• SPOOKY LOBBY & PHOTO BOOTH: October 28-30th, 9am-9pm. Visit the Ralph Thornton Community Centre (765 Queen E) main door to find it transformed into a haunted lobby and photo booth (dogs are welcome too)! Take your own spooky photos or ask our reception staff for help.
• ANIMAL GALLERY @ THE LIBRARY: Have fun coming out in costume and taking photos with the Queen/Saulter Library Branch’s Animal Gallery! Come during regular library hours
• SPOOKY FUN with SRCPC: Tuesday, October 26th Virtual Craft making Ghosts on Instagram Live @southriverdalecpc at 10:00am ; Friday, October 29th Halloween Dance Party & Circle Time during program at Saulter St Parkette (25 Saulter St) at 10:00am, register here ; Saturday, October 30th Halloween Dance Party & Circle Time during program at Saulter Parkette at 10:00am, register here ; Online activities will also be posted on social media on October 21st and October 28th Instagram: @southriverdalecpc , Facebook: @SRCPCentre

• *NEW* Degrassi Pumpkin Parade: One last time to let your Jack ‘O Lantern Shine! On Nov 1st, 6:30-8:30pm, bring your pumpkin(s) out to Degrassi St Park, take park in a community pumpkin parade, and leave your pumpkin for composting by the City of Toronto.

This year’s festivities are presented by the Riverside BIA, the Ralph Thornton Community Centre, the TPL Queen/Saulter Library Branch, the South Riverdale Child-Parent Centre, and the City of Toronto.
