BMO have been involved in actively helping communities since their beginning
On the evening of Friday, June 5th, the Riverside BIA and community will launch the Riverside Gateway Bridge Project – a $600,000 capital installation illuminating the iconic Riverside Bridge. The bridge is the gateway to Toronto’s Riverside District, located on Queen Street East, between the DVP and Empire Avenue.
Bringing together three years worth of planning and effort, Bank of Montreal (BMO) has been involved as one of our Bronze Sponsors for the project.
BMO is Canada’s first bank. Born and bred in Canada, it opened for business in 1817. It provided Canada’s first widely recognized and used currency. Today is has a significant presence worldwide, while very much being a part of the community in its home country.
They are committed to helping “improve the quality of life in the communities where we live and work. Our desire to make a contribution is deep-rooted, dating back to our first hospital donation in 1835”.
With branches all over Toronto, including right here in Riverside, BMO are widely recognized and known for their commitment and loyalty to neighborhoods across town.
LET US KNOW you’re coming to the Riverside Bridge Lighting June 5th!
