The Antler Breakfast is our annual festive community fundraiser and celebration. In 2024 it will take place at the Ralph Thornton Community Centre (765 Queen St E), on Friday, December 13th from 8am to 10am. It’s truly all about our local community and bringing everyone together for a good local cause.

As you can imagine given the rising costs of food and prevalence of food insecurity, Fontbonne Ministries’ Food Programming at their Mustard Seed location – which has provided 15,000 meals over the last year alone to individuals facing adversity in our community (see more information below) – needs support more than ever. We would like to invite you to be supporter in 2024.

Our goal this year is to raise at least $10,000, and we are grateful to Outline Financial who have helped kicked off the fundrasing this year as our returning Santa Sponsor!

ABOUT THE RIVERSIDE ANTLER BREAKFAST

The Riverside Antler Breakfast has been held annually in December to raise funds for a local cause, now in its 13th year. In 2024, we are supporting Fontbonne Ministries’ Food Programming at their Mustard Seed location (791 Queen St E). Fontbonne Ministries is proud of its 24-year presence in the Riverside community supporting individuals at various stages of life – some facing homelessness or precarious housing situations, others struggling to keep pace with the rising cost of living, and many grappling with social isolation and a longing for companionship. Over the last year alone, their food programming has provided almost 15,000 meals to individuals facing adversity in our community via their free drop-in programs, and their weekly Good Food Market has served 1,433 customers over the last year alone, providing healthy fresh, and affordable produce.
