Mealshare’s Buy one, Give one: what’s it all about? Find out June 6th at Riverside Eats & Beats Streetfest

Find out how you can help someone in need just by going to your favorite restaurant and eating your favorite dish!

Mealshare has just launched in Toronto and will be part of the Riverside Eats & Beats StreetFEST on Saturday June 6th!

MealshaMealshare pic1re is a grassroots Canadian non-profit that partners with restaurants to include the Mealshare logo next to menu items – for every Mealshare item sold, one meal is provided to someone in need through the partnership. Buy one, give one – it’s simple!

The organization’s mission is to end hunger across Canada and abroad. The initiative was started in Western Canada less than two years ago and has had a big impact to date – over 260,000 meals shared with people in need. In Toronto, they are partnered with PARC, and  provide meals internationally through Save the Children. For every dollar they receive from restaurants, at least 70¢ goes directly to providing meals for people in need through a partner charity. It’s simply awesome!

Visit them and learn more June 6th at their Riverside Eats & Beats booth near 625 Queen St East.
