Earlier this month, KJ Bit Collective had its annual Laneway Jam event and this year, Toronto’s Riverside neighbourhood had the honour of hosting the chosen site!
KJ Bit is an emerging mural arts collective championing animation of public spaces. Every year, the group brings together local artists to bring vibrancy to a neighbourhood through public art.

This year’s stacked line-up of artists included Nick Sweetman, Brother Moises, Monkyi, Stephanie Avery, Elicser, Erika James and June.
This project is funded by the City of Toronto’s Toronto Arts Council, and organized & supported by KJ Bit Collective, Pabst Blue Ribbon and Riverside BIA.
Located in the parking lot at 701 Queen St E (just behind The West Cork), the murals were centred around the theme “Food and Joy”.
