Ralph Thornton Community Centre is Inviting Artists to Display their Works

Ralph Thornton Community Centre (RTCC) has been a long time partner of the Riverside BIA and it is one of the community centres in the neighbourhood. They are calling out for artists to display their art works in the historic RTCC Stairwell Gallery!

Read on to learn more about it:

WHERE

The “Stairwell Gallery” at the RTCC (765 Queen St E) is comprised of the stairwell at the rear of RTCC – it boasts an imposing marble staircase, and space for at least eight large pieces of art on three landings.  There is adjustable picture mounting hardware available, and assistance in mounting artwork (timing needs to be arranged in advance).

WHAT

RTCC would like to showcase local artists, so makes the space available free of charge.  Since the capacity to provide security is limited, placement of artwork is “at your own risk.”

RTCC is able to promote the artwork through fortnightly electronic “Update” which currently has a circulation of 300, through a posting on www.RalphThornton.org  and the Facebook page, and with posters in the front lobby and bulletin boards.

MORE INFO

For more information, contact RTCC Business Manager Glenn Gustafson at 416-392-6810 x 225.
