Riverside neighbourhood could not be more excited to have a 100% vegan restaurant again!
In a soft opening format, Animal Liberation Kitchen (ALK) opened its doors for the first time, Thursday, March 14th. It’s a family-run business used of doing farmers markets and events and festivals, now they have a place to call their own, and that’s 717 1/2 Queen St East!
The ALK menu will be filled with vegan and organic food options that include a great selection of nutritious smoothies, pressed juices, comfort food, daily soup and stews, grain salads and sandwiches. Not only is the food packed with nutrients, but it also convenient for those on the go.
They are committed to bringing you affordable vegan options. According to Tania, the owner, “at Animal Liberation Kitchen, our goal is not to pressure people into feeling guilty about eating meat; we simply intend to offer a healthy and tasty alternative.”
