Delicious tasters from Hi-Lo’s resident Pop up, Loka Snacks, and all day happy hour drinks
At Riverside’s June 6th Eats & Beats Streetfest, don’t miss getting your Loka Snacks and all day happy hour drinks at Hi-Lo (753 Queen St. E.), Riverside’s dive bar.

About Hi-Lo and Loka Snacks
Beer and snacks get the “high” and “low” treatment at this Riverside hangout, which opened up in 2013. You’ll find high-quality local flavours at affordable prices – specials like $4 pints from Wellington’s, Canada’s Oldest Indie Micro, and delicious charcuterie options from $5 to $10 (or sometimes get the whole menu for $40!). Drinks are listed on a chalkboard in a homey setting decorated with rock ‘n’ roll posters, pinball machines and chunky wood tables.
Loka Snacks, the newest venture of award-winning PEI Chef Dave Mottershall, is a pop-up snack bar with a simple menu of yummy bar snacks prepared from local ingredients and focused on big flavor. For the Chef it represents a return to his passion of sourcing locally and supporting east end businesses.

What customers say
‘’Hi-Lo Bar scored big points with me. It’s highbrow enough to satisfy the part of me that really wants a literary-inspired cocktail and lowbrow enough to make it fun without the pretension’’ – Martha S.
“Great food. Order the whole menu if you can. It’s a trip of flavours you’ll want to experience. Chef Mottershall is a really friendly guy and came out to explain the dishes and chat. Definitely want to go back.” -Braden C.
