Fall is nearly upon us and it’s a great time to take stock of the neighbourhood, looking at the changes on the way
We are so excited to be welcoming Flaunt Boutique‘s new location (the sign currently says ‘untitled’ at 792 Queen St East). Hailing from all across Canada, Flaunt’s hair stylists each bring a distinct touch of individuality. Their eclectic and edgy personalities come together in a collaborative space where creativity reigns and where each artist feeds off of the other’s talent. You can see their amazing work all over Facebook and Twitter.
Just across from Flaunt and beside Bergstrom Originals (and in the former Olive and Olives space) a Bridal shop is busy moving in dressing the exterior and interior all in white! We can’t wait to see what this new amazing space has on offer.
Down the street on the north side is a new Wind Mobile location (750A Queen St E) – just opened on August 31st. Welcome to the neighbourhood guys!
Another bright orange sign just a few steps to the west is highly-rated Siddartha Fine Indian Cuisine! They are moving in to offer a take-out service. Great to have even more diversity of vegetarian food choices come into the neighbourhood.
The 700 Queen St E (former Kimberly Jackson) space is being prepped for Oso Viejo Imports, coming soon!
BMO is moving out of the historic building at 711 Queen Street East and into a new shiny space of 774 Queen East (formerly Carbon Computing).
Vietnamese food is on its way with Lan Restaurant moving into the space right beside the BIA office (761 Queen East) – the building at 755 Queen East is being totally renovated!
Last but certainly not least, the transformation of the Broadview Hotel at Queen and Broadview by Streetcar Developments to a boutique hotel and restaurants has been all over the news – it’s fantastic!
Rumour has it…
- 682 Queen Street East (former Darkhorse space) is being transformed into a new restaurant…more to come…
- 711 Queen Street East may also be gaining Dollaroma and LCBO (fingers crossed)!
Also this fall, we’re saying goodbye to: Ambiance Chocolat (we will miss our daily chocolate fix!) and Loka Snacks (congrats on new permanent location in Queen W!)
