Ride Smarter with Ward 30 Bikes at the June 6th Riverside Eats & Beats StreetFest!

Cycling enthusiast? Want to enourage your kid’s biking skills? Come and check out  the bike rodeo with Ward 30 Bikes

 Ward30 Bikes pic1As part of the June 6th Riverside Eats & Beats Streetfest, Ward 30 Bikes will be setting up a bike rodeo and a course at Munro and Queen St. East from 3PM-6PM to improve cycling skills, especially oriented for kids!

This is part of our Bike It! Block Party  which runs from 1PM-6PM – read all about it and come take part.

Ward 30 Bikes is the official cycle advocacy group for City of Toronto Ward 30. Their goal is to bring about positive change for commuter and recreational cyclists in the area by promoting the need for proper and safe cycling infrastructure to all users.

Being advocates and leaders for the promotion of cycling using public engagement and awareness in the ward and Toronto as a whole, they encourage bike safety and skills. They are also affiliated to Cycle Toronto by supporting their vision, guiding principles and goals of safer places for cyclists.

With schemes such as Bike Valet and Street Smarts Workshops, Ward 30 Bikes is the perfect place to answer any bike-related questions or queries on Saturday June 6th.

Anybody who would like to join the Bells of Danforth may do so from Munroe Street.
