The Beaches Int’l Jazz Festival is back in Toronto’s Riverside neighbourhood with The Sounds of Leslieville & Riverside on July 6-8th, this year with an amazing new BLOCK PARTY!!! Riverside is known for its small-town-in-the-big-city atmosphere. It has attracted a mix of unique independent shops owned by folks who are passionate about what they do. During the Beaches International Jazz Festival’s The Sounds of Leslieville & Riverside, (and everyday!) we’re inviting you to come out and meet the businesses owners, artisans and unique personalities.
With a vast array of products, from jewelry to pottery, from photography to gift cards, the Arts Market is the ideal destination for all your gift-shopping needs. On Saturday, July 7th for Sounds of Leslieville and Riverside, Arts Market will be featuring sidewalk sales by two of their local vendors: Mumbleweeds & MUNC Studio.
Stevie from Mumbleweeds is a graphic designer in Toronto. She focuses on lettering and watercolour. Many of her designs are floral themed and include a playful saying. She will be selling stickers, greeting cards and spiral notebooks.
Carol of MUNC Studio is a graphic designer turned craft maker, Carol thinks it’s natural that her love and passion shifted from paper to something with more tangibility. MUNC stands for modern, urban, natural and chic. Carol designs urban style accessories with sustainability in mind and you can check out some of her colourful and fun bags on June 7th.
On July 7th find a great selection of well-crafted artisanal goods and gifts at BRIKA’s sidewalk sale!
