A Dynamic Choral Community for East Toronto

A Musical Invitation!

Bring your family & friends and join members of the Toronto Beach Chorale as we “sing in” the Festive Season at Light up the Riverside Tree Lighting celebration on Saturday Nov 29th from 5-7 pm at the Mustard Seed Gardens (791 Queen Street East). Plus, there will be Treats to warm you up!

Toronto Beach Chorale is pleased to be invited, once again, to the Riverside BIA to join such a vibrant community in this fun, family-friendly event.

Now in their 7th season, Toronto Beach Chorale – an energetic musical presence in East Toronto – is a mixed-voice, auditioned concert choir of 50 to 60 members with a passion for great choral music.

Toronto Beach Chorale partners with other local arts groups and engages professional orchestras, ensembles, accompanists and emerging and professional singers from the wider Toronto music scene.

Our innovative Artistic Director, Mervin William Fick, MusBac., A.R.C.T. C.R.C.C.O. has been transforming choirs, inspiring individuals and raising performance levels of community, church and professional choirs for over 30 years. He is the founding director of the Toronto Beach Chorale, the Artistic Director of the MCS Chorus of Mississauga, and conductor of the PCS Singers of Brampton and the National Award winning Esprit Chamber Choir.

“I believe the choral experience to be one of the most intensely exciting of all musical experiences for singers and audiences alike. Its benefits reach far beyond the concert hall to touch the daily lives of all those involved – the true music experience is a shared one.”         Mervin William Fick

What people say about TBC…

Fabulous! The music was great and well performed. I really enjoyed the talk given at the beginning.”

“Wow! That was an amazing concert last night. Your choir is soaringly wonderful – beautiful voices and harmonies. And the instrumental stuff was great. Terrific choice of music – perfectly balanced.” – Gay Claitman & Kent Bowman

“As a result of your joyful music, we received so many compliments on your performance. We were privileged to have you perform at our anniversary.” – Debbie Visconti (Community Centre 55)

In addition to getting people warmed up with festive classics on November 29th, The Toronto Beach Chorale is performing throughout the holidays.
